Jeffrey Schindler is a leading conductor of film music, concert performances, and live orchestra to film. He has conducted the scores to Academy Award-winning films including March of the Penguins, X-men: Days of Future Past and X-men: Apocalypse, Anchorman with Will Ferrell, and more, and has been involved in blockbusters like The Matrix trilogy, the early Harry Potter movies, and others. He has led orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Toronto Symphony, Seattle Symphony, Baltimore Symphony, and more. Schindler has conducted over 200 performances of live to film concerts, including the live-to-film world premieres of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets with Symphony Silicon Valley, and March of the Penguins with the Seattle Symphony.

A Disney-authorized conductor, Schindler has conducted the scores to A-list movies including X-Men: Apocalypse, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Valkyrie with Tom Cruise, How Stella Got Her Groove Back, Jack the Giant Slayer, and The Wolfman, Anchorman and Talladega Nights with Will Ferrel, Hollywood Homicide, and the most successful documentary of all time: the Academy-Award winning March of the Penguins. Additionally, his more than 250 Hollywood production credits include The Matrix Trilogy, the early Harry Potter films, Firewall with Alexandre Desplat, Superman Returns, The Invasion, Next, Hotel Transylvania 2, Pee Wee’s Big Holiday, Ice Age: Eggscapade, 22 Jump Street, Cloudy 2: Revenge of the Leftovers, Gnomeo and Juliet, as well as orchestrations for Broadway composer Stephen Schwartz.

Schindler has given over 200 performances for live orchestra to film, with a broad list of repertoire that includes the Harry Potter films, Amadeus Live, DreamWorks Animation in Concert, and the Christmas favorite It’s A Wonderful Life.

His international concert conducting career has led him to the podiums of renowned orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Seattle Symphony, Baltimore Symphony, Milwaukee Symphony, San Diego Symphony, Colorado Symphony, Nashville Symphony, Louisville Orchestra, Toronto Symphony, Kansas City Symphony, New Jersey Symphony, Pacific Symphony, Czech Philharmonic, Orquesta Filarmónica de Santiago (Chile), Orquesta Filarmónica de Puerto Rico, Strauss Orchestra of Montreal, Orquesta Internacional de Las Artes (Mexico City), Metropolitan Festival Orchestra (Singapore), Orquesta Sinfonica Nacional de Colombia (Bogota), AISOI Symphony Orchestra in Australia (with whom he led the Tasmanian premiere of Stravinsky’s Le Sacre du Printemps), and others.

A virtuoso harpsichordist, Schindler has appeared in concert with members of the New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra and frequently appears with the Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra, Pasadena Symphony, and the San Bernardino Symphony.
